Former US Special Ops Chief and National Guard CIO Ryan Patrick Joins Intraprise Health as VP Security Products and Strategy

Intraprise Health, providers of BluePrint Health Information Security™ services and Care Navigator Healthcare Engagement™ solutions, has appointed Ryan Patrick, MBA, CISSP, CCSFP, to Vice President of BluePrint Health Information Security Products and Strategy.
A seasoned expert in healthcare information security and a HITRUST CSF practitioner, Mr. Patrick will lead innovative initiatives to protect patient information and organizational resources for Intraprise Health’s provider and payer clients throughout the United States.
“The addition of Ryan to our security team further strengthens our ability to deliver robust security services and leadership in addressing the breadth and depth of risk health systems and insurers face,” said Mark Ferrari, Executive Vice President and CISO of Intraprise Health’s BluePrint Health Information Security services. “We are happy to have him back on the team.”
Prior to joining Intraprise Health, Mr. Patrick served as Vice President of Client Services and Operations at Fortified Health Security where his team received awards from Frost & Sullivan and Black Book. He previously served as the Director of Security, Privacy and Compliance at Blueprint Healthcare IT, which became a part of Intraprise Health in 2018.
Working within organizations like MetLife and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as a security analyst, Ryan honed his consulting skills, conducting risk assessments against HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 and PCI-DSS, before becoming a HITRUST Common Security Framework practitioner in 2015.
Mr. Patrick’s military and technology background are extensive. He is a Battalion Commander for the United States Army Reserve. His previous military assignments include serving as Global Enterprise Operations Center Team Chief for the US Special Operations Command, Chief Information Officer of 42d Infantry Division within the New York Army National Guard, as the Deputy Chief Information Officer, and as Chief Information Officer of FEMA Region II Homeland Response Force.
His combat and military valor was acknowledged in receiving a Bronze Star Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
